Tokpa® Postpartum Massage utilizes oil, and a range of specialized techniques performed with the hands, elbows, forearms, and massage tools. This service integrates methods designed for both relaxation and techniques that aim to achieve lasting results.

Tokpa® Postpartum Massage

This session is for women who have experienced any type of labor or birth, including vaginal or cesarean delivery, positive or negative.

Regardless of your experience, support is available, and we will meet you at your current stage. Please communicate your needs for your session based on where you are in your journey.

Postpartum Deep Tissue Massage Can Help With:

    ~ Some sessions may include postural assessment which may help with lasting pain relief.

    ~ Lower Back Pain (Due to postural changes)

    ~ Neck Pain & Upper Back Pain (Due to breastfeeding and pumping or simply looking down to bond with your baby.)

  • A great space to catch up on sleep (Due to Insomnia caused by nighttime feedings)

    ~ Tightness in the Diaphragm (muscle that assists with breathing)

    ~May help reduce the appearance of a C-section scar (recommended at least 6 weeks after birth) and realign deeper layers of scar tissue, which could support future fertility.

  • Breast Massage (with Informed Consent)

    ~ Reduces tenderness in breast tissue.

    ~ Encourages an easeful breast-feeding experience.

    ~ Supports lymphatic and circulatory systems.

    ~ Can be performed through the sheet or directly on the skin.
