A NEW KIND OF MASSAGE EXPERIENCE

CONNECT WITH YOURSELF

CALM THE MIND

LIVE WITH EASE

Tokpa comes from the Tibetan word meaning self-realization, understanding and, experience. One of the main concepts in Tibetan Buddhism is to realize the nature of the mind so we can experience peace.

A glowing, stylized brain with intricate neural pathways against a light, textured background.

The mind plays a key part in how we perceive everything from stress, pain or discomfort.

When we're stressed, our breathing patterns shift, either speeding up or pausing, which impacts our muscles, tendons, and joints.

On top of that, living a life filled with extremes: a sedentary lifestyle or too much exercise and not enough self-care doesn’t help us in the long run.

I encourage clients to be aware of their breath and develop a relationship with their bodies and practice moderation.

Let’s take a deep and slow breath in through the nose…on the count of 6 or 7

Breathe out through the nose….on the count of 6 or 7

Feel a difference? Regardless of the answer, you could use a massage!

Now that we’ve connected with our breath, let’s talk about the physical…

Massage Therapy has a multitude of benefits.

Whenever we perceive something as stressful, we tense up…

Studies show how massage can decrease cortisol (stress hormone), relax muscles, improve sleep, improve posture and more.

At TOKPA, we are a team. During a session, your breath is your friend, and it helps me to help you.

When we connect with our breath, our bodies naturally soften, making it easier for me to address physical ailments and work toward lasting change.

TOKPA is a perfect blend of mental and physical. I guide you while you’re on the table so you can apply everything you’ve experienced to:

WORK -- SLEEP -- EATING -- EXERCISE & FITNESS GOALS -- PREGNANCY/ POSTPARTUM -- AGING -- BEYOND
